Full Bloom – Joshua Tree National Park

I have been unpacking after my April venture to Joshua Tree National Park. I wanted to share one aspect of the beauty of this park while I complete the main post about the trip.

The campground host told me that the amount of blooms they had this spring came around once in 20 years.  I felt lucky to have experienced the beauty of the park with the added blooms of the various plants.

My pictures do an injustice to the beauty that can be seen in person. I long for the day to have a camera that captures what I see, the way I see it. Here is a slide show of the various flower pictures around the park.

  1. Hi, Mike! I’ll bet it was a spectacular trip to be sure.
I have tried several times to see your flowers but the screen simply stays black. Any suggestions?
    Would love to see them.
